Eligibility Requirements:
- Must have a university degree in one of the specializations mentioned above.
- Graduation rate must be at least 2.67 on a 4-point system or 80% on a numerical system.
- Verbal grade on the transcript must be "Very Good" or higher.
- No more than 3 years since graduation (as of January 13, 2025).
- Must be under 28 years old (as of January 13, 2025).
- Not registered as an employer with the Public Institution for Social Security on January 13, 2025 (and until employment commences, if accepted).
- Not currently employed by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation or its subsidiaries.
Required Documents:
- Copy of Civil ID and Nationality documents
- Educational certificate and final transcript (including final graduation rate)
- Equivalency certificate from the Ministry of Higher Education (for non-government universities)
- Certificate of good standing from the Public Institution for Social Security (issued on or after January 13, 2025)
- Proof of national military service status (completion, postponement, exemption) for male applicants born on or after October 5, 1999 (as per Law No. 20 of 2015)
- For degrees using a system other than a 4-point system or percentage, a certificate with the general average converted to the 4-point or percentage system is required. Exceptions apply to universities following the British, Irish, or 7-point systems.
Selection Process:
Applications that meet the eligibility requirements and include all necessary documents will be considered. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for written tests and a personal interview. The English language test must be passed to proceed to the specialization test.
Final Ranking:
The final ranking of candidates will be based on a combination of factors, including:
- Overall academic performance (graduation average)
- English language test score
- Specialization test score
- Personal interview performance
- Graduation from a distinguished university (as determined by the Ministry of Higher Education)
In case of a tie, priority will be given to graduates from distinguished universities. Further tie-breaking criteria include:
- Higher score in the qualification test (90% or above)
- Age (older applicant gets priority)
- Marital status (married applicants get priority)
