Part of the job involves cleaning up debris and ensuring public spaces remain tidy and safe. Additional tasks may be assigned based on team needs.

Qualifications for Success

To qualify for this role, having some experience in road maintenance or repair is an asset, but it is not mandatory. A valid Class G or G2 driver’s licence with at least two years of driving experience is required. Your driving record must be clean, with no suspensions or major infractions within the last five years.

The role is physically demanding, so you must be able to perform tasks like walking, lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods. These duties will take place in various weather conditions, including heat and rain. Additionally, excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset are important for interacting effectively with team members and the public.
