Bayshore is expanding its team and is actively seeking Personal Caregivers for casual home and community care roles in Scarborough. This position offers flexible hours, allowing you to work according to your lifestyle. While a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Health Care Aide (HCA) certificate is appreciated, it is not a mandatory requirement.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality and compassionate care to clients within their communities. Duties may include assisting clients with personal care, activities of daily living, homemaking services such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry, as well as providing companionship or accompanying them to events and activities in the community.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

Knowledge of community care practices, a reliable mode of transportation, and a clear Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain one) are essential.

If you are interested in a Personal Caregiver role, completion of an accredited caregiver training program or a combination of equivalent education and experience is preferred.

Bayshore requires all new hires to adhere to relevant provincial regulations, which may include proof of vaccination against illnesses like COVID-19, Hepatitis, and Seasonal Flu. Requests for medical or human rights exemptions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
