About the Role

Rogers Wireless, Canada's market leader in telecommunications, is hiring a Business Development Manager to join its team. The successful candidate will focus on account management and sales coordination, serving as a Brand Ambassador for the Rogers Preferred Program (RPP). Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role involves collaborating with stakeholders to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators.


Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Handle an assigned list of new and prospective RPP accounts.
  • Relationship Building: Collaborate with key account contacts, business executives, and dealers to meet sales goals.
  • Promotion Design: Develop promotions to boost market share and revenue.
  • Training & Support: Train dealer associates on tools, promotions, and systems to maximize product adoption.
  • Customer Resolution: Address escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Data Analysis: Review sales reports to identify trends and provide insights.
  • Market Insights: Gather feedback on competitive trends and share recommendations.
  • Inventory Monitoring: Ensure products are properly represented and report inventory challenges.

What You Bring

  • Education: Post-secondary education in a business-related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in telecommunications, with territory management preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other office systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing deadlines and schedules.
  • Requirements: A valid driver’s license, clean abstract, and access to a personal vehicle.
