Job Overview

As a Golf Course Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining smooth golf course operations. Key responsibilities include managing player pace of play, addressing customer concerns, and maintaining a clean, organized facility. This position offers up to 40 hours per week, with shifts that include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hourly pay ranges from $17.20 to $18.92, providing a rewarding experience in a professional and scenic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties in this role include:

Power Cart Management:

Stage power carts for players at the start of their rounds.

Clean carts thoroughly after use.

Safely store carts at the end of the day.

Pace of Play Supervision:

Monitor and maintain the pace of play on the course.

Address on-course concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

Event and Tournament Support:

Assist with the setup and execution of golf tournaments and special events.

Ensure smooth operations during events by coordinating with other team members.

Driving Range Maintenance:

Pick and replenish golf balls at the driving range (specific to BraeBen).

Shuttle golfers to and from the range as needed.

Facility Cleanliness:

Maintain a clean and safe environment for players and visitors.

Monitor common areas for any maintenance issues and address them promptly.

Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and organizational abilities to interact with players, resolve concerns, and enforce course rules with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: A quick thinker capable of handling sensitive issues effectively.
  • Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Certifications: Candidates must hold a current Smart Serve and Emergency First Aid Certification (CPR B).
  • Flexibility: Availability for weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts, including early mornings and late evenings.

Physical Demands

This position involves moderate physical work in an outdoor environment. Tasks include walking, bending, lifting, and moving equipment, often in various weather conditions. Candidates should be comfortable performing these activities regularly.
