About the Role
Join Moores Clothing for Men, part of Tailored Brands, as a Retail Store Tailor. In this part-time role, you’ll help customers feel confident in their tailored garments. Your expertise in alterations, coupled with your commitment to customer satisfaction, will ensure every customer receives a perfectly fitted product that reflects their style and personality.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert assistance throughout the customer experience, from consultations to final fittings.
- Ensure garments fit perfectly by marking, altering, and pressing them with precision.
- Answer customer questions and offer recommendations for wardrobe ensembles.
- Maintain a clean and organized tailor shop and assist team members as needed.
- Engage with customers to understand their unique needs and preferences.
Requirements
- Formal tailoring training and experience in men’s wear alterations are preferred.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency with sewing equipment.
- Excellent communication and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to perform basic and advanced alterations with a high standard of quality.
