Position: Full-Time Sales Associate
Adidas is seeking enthusiastic and customer-driven individuals to join its team as Full-Time Sales Associates at the Originals Store in Montreal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to represent a globally recognized brand while delivering exceptional service and assisting customers in finding products that best suit their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting adidas merchandise, providing information about products, materials, technology, and functionality.
- Uphold adidas’ customer service standards by actively listening to customers’ needs and offering informed recommendations.
- Drive sales by applying adidas’ selling techniques and utilizing the in-store AOS system when available.
- Complete customer transactions accurately, including handling cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Maintain the store's appearance, replenish inventory, and assist with customer inquiries.
- Stay updated on adidas’ products, promotions, and advertising campaigns.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment by respecting co-workers.
- Handle additional tasks such as answering phones and following inventory control procedures as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong ability to read and understand instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Basic math proficiency, including the ability to handle whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Common sense and problem-solving skills to manage standardized situations.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.
- Strong decision-making, customer service, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with overtime during peak periods like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Back-to-School.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, walk frequently, and lift up to 12 kg regularly and 34 kg occasionally.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
- Retail experience (three to six months) preferred.
- Proficiency in both English and French (verbal and written).
